Country Livin'

I always wanted to live in a big city growing up. Considering where I grew up, you would understand. Friona wasn't a bad place to live. It just lacks fun for teenagers. So I ended up in Clovis, NM. Yes it is a lot bigger than Clovis, but still small to my BIG dreams. But I have adjusted to the small city livin' and thought yeah, I would be a hotshot and I'm going to live UPtown. I met Ralph and we ended up living on the west side of town, just a few short minutes from the train tracks, in a 3 bedroom, 2 bath moblie home. With a huge empty field across from us. Needless to say during the winter months, we had lots of mouse traps out. So I was super excited almost 3 years ago, when we were able to purchase our 1st home together. It was built in 1952, and it's colder than heck in this place. It is a 4 bedroom, 1 bath (which sucks), wood floor, single family home. But is it uptown?? Nope, it's just outside of the city limits. Why am I writing about this you may ask? Well because I got to finally touch our friendly neighbor horses that live just a few short feet from my back fence. I walked into our garge and my husband and put up 5 mouse traps. And as of yesterday I've found our 2nd bull snake by our house. It's wonderful livin' a cournty life. :)
